As last year, a group of Michigan students will be working on two projects in the area: One focusing on Domestic Violence at Tubman Family Alliance in Minneapolis, and one tutoring immigrant children at Como Elementary School in St. Paul.
This is a great opportunity to talk with students about The University as well as support them in their volunteer efforts to make our area a better place. We had rave reviews of this event last year. The details are below.

Why : It's a great way to show support of those who support and work to better our community. A few years ago, a group of students organized something they call Alternative Spring Break. Instead of heading off to Cancun, students spend their spring breaks doing service projects that better the world they live in.
