A sincere Welcome to all of you in the Sun Cities, Peoria, Glendale, Anthem, Buckeye, Litchfield Park, Surprise, El Mirage and adjacent Maricopa County areas.  The U of M Club of the Sun Cities and West Valley is a regional alumni club affiliated with the Alumni Association of the University of Michigan.  Members of the Alumni Association are automatically members of their local alumni club; there are no additional dues to pay.

Because of the seasonal nature of our population , in most instances, our club meets from October through May at a variety of entertaining and stimulating social events sharing our University of Michigan interests.  We truly welcome your ideas and suggestions in planning our events.  Please contact us for more information abour the club!

SCHOLARSHIP FUND...After reactivating our scholarship program 6 years ago, we have  presented a total of $12,000 in scholarship funds to  Armando Lopez, who recently completed his Senior year at the U of M Ann Arbor campus and received his Bachelor's Degree in Architecture.

Additionally, in 2008, we awarded $5,000 to another Arizona exceptional student, Stephen Bowie.   U-M Honors student Stephen will commence his Senior year of studies on the Ann Arbor campus in Fall 2008.

In 2008, we awarded $2,000 to another  Arizona  engineering student,  Josef  Salmons.  Josef  will  commence his Junior year in September 2008.
