Welcome to the U of M Club of Grand Rapids Web site.  We hope you will find the information on events and services helpful.  Please join us for a game watch, banquet, community service or scholarship event.  You may be surprised at the diversity of our club members and their involvement in our community and the U of M.

This past year has marked a number of milestones for the University of Michigan Club of Grand Rapids.  We have expanded our programs and events to include a young alumni group, a tailgate in Ann Arbor for our scholarship students, and started a quest for the future with the establishment of a mentoring program for promising students at the middle school level.  We have also continued events with long-standing traditions, such as student recruiting, our scholarship awards program, the Baseball Bash, Golf Outing and Sports Banquet.

With the award of 16 additional scholarships for the upcoming 2008-2009 academic year, the University of Michigan Club of Grand Rapids has now exceeded $1 million in scholarship awards to outstanding students from West Michigan.  We are very proud that we will have 67 students on campus in the fall who will be receiving scholarships from our program.  Our club’s endowment and the scholarships we provide are only possible because of the generous participation of our members in our many programs.  We thank each and every one of them for the contributions they have made.
