The club needs a new t-shirt and we'd like YOU to design it. The design should be created in Photoshop and be two colors or less and include reference to our club's location - Altanta Atlanta (this could be use of our club's logo). The shirt color does not count against your two colors. Please review the following website for official guidelines and rules pertaining to University licensing of logos and phrases (www.logos.umich.edu). You are welcome to incorporate these elements into your design. Please contact Sabina to obtain official logos for use, including our club logo.

Sign-ups for the Michigan Bowling Team will begin in a couple of weeks. For the past couple of years, Michigan has had a bowling team in a Bowling League that meets on Mondays from 6:30PM - 8:30PM. We compete against other bowling teams that are alumni of unversities likePurdue, Penn State and Virginia. the location of the Bowling League is Midtown Bowl in Midtown.

The league schedule is being finalized, but it will be a 12 week season starting the first or second Monday in September.

The Board of Directors of the University of Michigan Club of Atlanta (UMACA) would like to thank all of our alumni, family, and friends for their generous support of our scholarship fund. During the past two years, we raised $25,000 from raffles during the football games and silent auctions at our marquis fundraising event, Victors & Vino. These funds were matched on a 1-to-1 basis ($25,000) by U of M President Mary Sue Coleman as part of the President's Donor Challenge. These funds were used to establish a "need-based" scholarship endowment fund.

Annual stipends from the fund will be awarded to Metro-Atlanta high school seniors who attend Michigan based on financial need.
